Dr. Alebić completed her veterinary studies in Sarajevo, where she first developed an interest in fields that contribute to long-term animal recovery. She recently finished her specialist program in physical rehabilitation in Zagreb, further deepening her expertise and focusing on an area that is increasingly important in modern veterinary medicine.
She finds her greatest professional fulfillment in the department of physical rehabilitation, where she sees first-hand how therapeutic methods support functional recovery in patients, particularly those with neurological or orthopedic conditions. She emphasizes that physical therapy often exceeds expectations – it plays a crucial role in improving quality of life and is an essential part of the healing process.
For her, veterinary medicine has always been a calling. A love for animals has been present since early childhood, and the desire to help them was the main motivation behind her career choice. The feeling that she can contribute to their well-being continues to inspire her every day and confirms that she is working in the right profession.
At home, she is surrounded by her pets – her 9 year-old Rottweiler, Mici, and her cat, Lovro. Mici is currently undergoing physical rehabilitation, giving Dr. Alebić the opportunity to apply her therapeutic work with her own animal, further enriching her professional perspective and reinforcing her dedication to the field.
