Dr. Medvidović discovered her love for veterinary medicine during her studies, inspired by the atmosphere and dynamic work at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb. It was this environment – rich in hands-on learning and real clinical experience – that ignited her passion for the profession and affirmed her decision to dedicate her career to the health and well-being of animals.
She is particularly drawn to the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation, where therapeutic procedures allow her to witness tangible progress and relief in her patients. While her daily work primarily involves internal medicine, she maintains a strong interest in all areas that support recovery and improve the quality of life of pets.
At home, she is surrounded by a diverse group of animal companions – a rabbit, turtles, fish, and her dog Oskar, who has been faithfully by her side for 11 years since she adopted him from a shelter. This lifelong connection with animals shapes her empathy and enriches her approach to every patient she treats.
The fast-paced nature of veterinary work is something she embraces wholeheartedly, as it is an inherent part of the profession she chose. What motivates her most is the gratitude of owners and the moment she sees that her efforts have led to a successful recovery – a rewarding confirmation that inspires her to approach every patient with the same dedication and care.
