Dr. Tessa Rogošić grew up surrounded by a variety of pets – dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and today, her parrot Wilma. This diverse group sparked her interest in animals that require a different kind of attention and careful care. Their uniqueness, sensitivity, and specific needs have always fascinated her, gradually guiding her toward working with birds, small mammals, and reptiles. Her passion for these species began while caring for exotic pets of her own – an experience that continues to inspire her to provide the specialized, high-quality care they often struggle to find.
The most rewarding moment of her workday comes when she sees the results of the team’s efforts: a recovering patient, happy owners, and that small, joyful sign – a wagging tail as they leave the clinic. “That’s when I know every step has been worth it,” says Dr. Rogošić.
