CT diagnostics

CT diagnostics is an essential tool for rapid and accurate assessment of health status, especially in complex or urgent cases. In our hospital, we use a high-resolution CT device that allows detailed imaging of almost all parts of the body, which is especially important in patients with multiple injuries or conditions that cannot be accurately displayed through other methods.

This technology gives our team a detailed insight into the structures of organs, bones and soft tissues, helping to diagnose and plan optimal treatment in a timely manner.

During the procedure, the pet is under anaesthesia for a short time, so that the procedure is accurate, safe and stress-free.

We use CT diagnostics in different areas of veterinary medicine, for example:

  • in the assessment of critical patients (injuries of vital organs, bleeding),
  • in surgical patients (preoperative planning in diseases of the heart, lungs, urinary tract and abdominal vessels),
  • in neurological conditions (herniated disc, spinal trauma),
  • in oncological cases (determining the stage of the tumour),

At Vetti Split Hospital, we believe that each diagnosis has to be based on accurate information – that is why a CT scan is an important step towards the safe and effective treatment of your pet.
