In our veterinary hospital, we perform ophthalmological examinations and treatment of eye diseases of dogs and cats \u2013 from mild infections and inflammation to complex conditions such as cherry eye syndrome, glaucoma, eye injuries or congenital anomalies.<\/p>\n

Ophthalmological changes are often early signs of other diseases, so their timely recognition can be crucial for the health of the whole organism. Our goal is to detect the cause, prevent the progression of the disease and preserve your pet’s vision.<\/p>\n

Preventive ophthalmic examinations are recommended for both older and young pets, especially if you notice signs such as redness, increased tearing, corneal opacity, blinking or rubbing of eyes. With regular inspections we can prevent complications, react in time and preserve your pet\u2019s vision.<\/p>\n

Modern diagnostics for precise treatment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our hospital is equipped with modern ophthalmic diagnostic equipment<\/strong> that enables fast and accurate detection of eye diseases.
\nAlong with a complete ophthalmological and neuroophthalmological examination<\/strong>, we perform:<\/p>\n

  • examination of the anterior segment of the eye under magnification<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  • examination of the posterior segment of the eye (direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  • ultrasound diagnostics of ocular changes<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  • cytological analyses and bacteriological tests of samples<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    All findings are carefully interpreted in order to make an accurate diagnosis and immediately begin appropriate treatment.<\/p>\n

    If it is determined that surgical intervention is required, our team performs procedures on the eyelids, the anterior segment of the eye and emergency ophthalmological operations in cases of injuries or acute conditions.
